Spanish DJ/Producer and Fayer label boss Edu Imbernon is to release
new single, Bitter Fate on July 4th, complete with a remix from
Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat.
Having already established himself as one of Spain’s most revered
homegrown DJ/producers over the last five years, Bitter Fate is a
testament to Edu’s slick, ever-maturing sound. Centered around a
hazy, mellow vocal, the track builds across seven minutes of rolling,
balearic grooves and bright, glistening melodies that feel perfectly
geared towards the incoming summer season.
Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine, better known as Fur Coat, then turn
in their own darker, rolling rework to give the track a new dynamic
for the floor. Built around a dark, pulsating bassline and haunting
male vocals, their edit feels both near-hypnotic and infectious,
serving as an excellent addition to Edu’s original mix.
Looking ahead, Edu will be hosting his regular Fayer event series in
Valencia on June 26th, following his special Fayer Showcase on Space
Ibiza’s famous terrace on June 2nd and performance at Space’s
About Edu Imbernon:
In 2010, Edu teamed up with his friend, fellow DJ and Suara label
boss, Coyu, for their track El Baile Alemán, which was awarded
‘Best Underground Track of the Year’ by Beatport and stayed at #1
for two solid weeks.
Edu’s label and events series, Fayer, was later established in 2012
and has gone from strength-to-strength with the likes of Seth Troxler,
Jamie Jones, Tiga and The Martinez Brothers all gracing lineups at
previous Fayer events. The label side of the brand focuses on bridging
the gap between the worlds of indie and electronica, as well as the
house and techno sounds of the club world, with the likes of
Adriatique, Maya Jane Coles and Edu himself all releasing music
through the Fayer label. Also held in high regard as a remixer, Edu
has worked on official reworks for The XX, Metronomy and Maya Jane
Coles to name a few.

Fresh music from Mars! Dance music's newest discovery Madison Mars drops his full 'Ready Or Not' EP, featuring four stunning tunes that define the mystery producer more than ever. It's out now on Don Diablo's HEXAGON imprint, ready to hit planet earth with a bang!
ntering the earth's orbit last year with debut single 'Theme O', the anonymous artist Madison Mars has quickly proven his status of a new star to watch out for. Especially with his follow-up single 'Milky Way', which also scored millions of streams worldwide.
Earlier this year, he delivered two successful remixes; one for Sam Feldt's 'Been A While', another for Tritonal's club hit 'Blackout'. And while crowds are eagerly awaiting new material, Madison Mars now comes with a full EP, presenting four tracks; the high energy, Fugees infused track 'Ready Or Not', the vintage house tune 'Doppler', the trap tinged, soundscapey track 'Venus', and the exciting dance track 'Down' (a Spotify exclusive).
Exclusive Madison Mars quotes on all tracks: "The main idea behind my debut EP was to explore various genres and sounds that I currently find interesting.
'Ready Or Not' was actually a bootleg at first, born during one of those sleepless studio nights. Don loved it so we decided to breathe new life into the project and modernize it so it would be closer to my new sound.
'Doppler' is one of those tracks that just kind of happened unexpectedly. It’s a super catchy track in its own weird way, bringing life to the forgotten 90's sounds mixed with various synths and other cool elements. I started with 126 bpm speed, then slowing things down at the breakdown. It was quite an interesting and unique setting for me, but in the end I think it works like a charm!
It’s not always about big beats and festival bangers. I'm human too (kind of) and I have my personal moments where I like to listen and enjoy different kinds of music that help me get through the harder moments in life and give me the inspiration to move on. 'Venus' is exactly that kind of a track to me. Magical vocals mixed with the trademark Madison Mars melodies, a touch of solid bass and heavy percussion.
While you’re planning your EP, you never know how many tracks you might end up with. The plan always was to make it a 3-track EP, but sometimes those sleepless nights just have positive results by the sunrise and 'Down' is the best example of that. Last minute fooling around turned into a simple yet very catchy house tune. I hope you’re down for it!"
DJ support: Don Diablo, Galantis, David Guetta, Afrojack, W&W, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3hab, Michael Calfan, EDX, Felix Jaehn, Yves V, Bingo Players and many more.

Well, our artist Chàrlee M. did! On her way to a tv performance she and her four friends/background dancers had the idea of doing a video about the „Roaring Twenties“. Long cigarette holders, short dresses and a new image of women are charming allegories of this special epoch. And then Chàrlee and her producer Andre Müther (D-Lay Productions) did write the matching song for it!
Musically, especially in the piano sound you'll find referencies to the „Roaring Twenties“. But of course “Back In Time“ is a modern pop- und dancesong that works in the club and on the radio. It sounds as if Lady Gaga and Marlene Dietrich would excessively party in a club!
