Dutch DJs Rene Amesz and Ferreck Dawn have continued their dream collab with the release of 'Rosie', a tech house groove working up a warm soul vibe. As already proven before, the duo can lean on widespread DJ support, ranging from Groove Armada and EDX to Nora En Pure and Lost Frequencies supporting the track. 'Rosie' is officially out now on Spinnin' Deep
For sure it's a collab made in house heaven. Ferreck Dawn is already an artist whose name is written in the stars by now, responsible for a series of club hits, including last year's Franky Rizardo collab 'Baby Slow Down' and the wonderful 'Another Day' featuring Bishøp. Earlier this year, he scored a huge hit together with Joe Stone, the much praised, 90s styled 'Man Enough'.
Speaking of praise, Rene Amesz has followed a likewise trail. Playing clubs and festivals all around, he's established himself as one of the household names in Dutch nightlife. His productions are in much demand, released on labels like Spinnin' Deep, Toolroom, Suara and Kittball, while Amesz has finetuned his sound from chunky house to more tech and deep styled records.
Earlier this year, the guys combined their forces for the first time, immediately delivering something special with 'Lord', an instant floor favorite featuring subtle basses and groovy percussion alongside warm, soulful vocals. It was supported by loads of DJs, getting plays in many deep/tech house sets.
And now there's 'Rosie', a record where the duo explores its unique flow even further. The track unmistakably brings both producers' talent together, bringing a solid house groove, subtle but highly effective bass lines and a gospel tinged vocal line that provides warmth and depth.
“After the success of our first collab ‘Lord’ we had to do a follow up! Collaborating with Rene is great, we had a great flow and were able to finish the track in a couple of weeks. The combination of my house influences, Rene’s tech grooves and a great vocal work very well!” - Ferreck Dawn
“It started with ‘Lord’! Now ‘Rosie’! What else is coming? And the good thing about these collabs is that we literally make the music together instead of just one nerd twisting the knobs. The way it’s supposed to be in my opinion!” - Rene Amesz
Just as with 'Lord', this new single 'Rosie' has turned into a DJ's favorite again, including support by Groove Armada, Nora En Pure, EDX, Watermät, Wankelmut, Lost Frequencies, The Aston Shuffle, Chocolate Puma, Tocadisco, Wally Lopez, and Yolanda Be Cool, as well as radio support by Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
Canadian dance notoriety Shaun Frank has released his much awaited new single 'Let You Get Away'. Featuring US singer Ashe it's a track already supported by a wide range of DJs, out now on Spinnin' Records.
Shaun Frank has been making serious waves recently, working up quite a discography as singer/DJ/producer. Last year alone, the Canadian multi talent delivered major club hits like 'Shades Of Grey' (alongside Oliver Heldens) and 'Heaven' (working with KSHMR), while he recently co-wrote The Chainsmokers' worldwide hit 'Closer'.
Now he returns on solo productional duty, teaming up with San Diego singer Ashe for the first time, immediately turning up with a undeniable gem. 'Let You Go Away' works up stylish pop vibes along with exciting, synth based dance rhythms, touching both body and mind with its chords and vocal lines.
Ashe remembers vividly how 'Let You Get Away' was conceived during a writing trip to Toronto. "It was the first time Shaun and I had ever met, but after a couple minutes of throwing ideas around and chugging coffee, we become close friends. LYGA started with the melody that you hear out the gate, it's the very first melody that came out of my mouth when I heard the chords. I could tell Shaun was into it cause it wasn't a second later that he put words to my notes, 'every time you screw up I will find an excuse to forgive you' and we were off! When we left the studio that day I remember feeling like we had a really solid song and altogether, I left Toronto going, 'damn, everything is about to change.'"
'Let You Get Away' has seen DJ support from the likes of The Chainsmokers, R3hab, Dillon Francis, Jay Hardway, Ummet Ozcan, Lucas & Steve, Felix Jaehn, Lost Frequencies, Audio Bullys and many more.
Dutch DJ duo Bassjackers is exploring new sounds and you can check them all out on this new mind-blowing EP. Destiny has a reggae feel to it because of the instruments they used for their chords and the exotic vocals. You will be surprised by the dubstep elements in the exuberant drop. Followed by the more laidback track To Be The One, that has a nice RnB flow enhanced by soulful vocals and a subtle drop with vivacious synths. Tomorrow contains the sounds of the future - dropping hard with its vigorous beat. Last up is One Fifty and it doesn’t get harder than this. With its trap influenced beat, distorted kicks, loud horns and a drop that is out of this world, this a definitely a track that completes this EP. Blasting through your speakers, good stuff!

Don Diablo brings us one of his most renowned tracks to date, as he teams up with Steve Aoki and Lush & Simon for ravers’ Summer 2016 anthem, “What We Started,” featuring BullySongs. For sure, it's a dream team at work here, out now through HEXAGON/Spinnin' Records.
Going through perhaps his most creative phase ever, Don Diablo continues to surprise his audience with new, invigorating tunes. Releasing his hits on various labels, whether through his own label, HEXAGON, or labels like Spinnin' Records, Axtone or Columbia Records, Don works up a fresh round of excitement with every record.
After recent hit releases “On My Mind,” “Universe,” “Chemicals” (his collab with Tiësto), and “Tonight,” Don assembled a veritable who’s who of dance music to create the mesmerizing tune, “What We Started.” With contributions from DJ star Steve Aoki, Italian duo Lush & Simon and well-known vocalist and songwriterBullySongs the track has turned into an anthem for this generation, appealing to all senses. As Don describes it:
Don Diablo: "'What we started' is dedicated to those of us who have the guts to follow their dreams and are willing to work hard for it. But...by now the song is also an anthem dedicated to every raver, dj and everyone else in the electronic music industry. It's incredible to see what we created together in such a short amount of time. We are part of a community that let's you escape your worries through music week after week, something which is much needed in dark times like these."
Bully Songs: “Really psyched at how everyone came together on 'What We Started'. This song represents all those who struggle to make something beautiful in the world. It's one for the fans, artists, writers and anyone who's built something from nothing.... Enjoy!”
After Cheat Codes’ most recent collaborations ‘Sex’ with Kris Kross Amsterdam (170 million-plus Spotify plays and 22 million YouTube views and counting plus currently #9 in the UK chart) and ‘Can’t Fight It’ with Quintino, the LA based power trio are back with their newest collaboration. This time teaming up on their new summer jam ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ with the Dutch DJ/producer phenom Dante Klein. The young DJ/producer only last year bursted into the scene with his track ‘Ertesuppe’ which received support by heavyweights such as Pete Tong, Avicii and The Magician.
Cheat Codes and Dante Klein’s new track ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ is a rework of Kevin Lyttle’s hit ‘Turn Me On’. “Everybody loves the classic Kevin Lyttle song ‘Turn Me On’, so we were stoked to re-do it and put our own little twist on it. The melodies are timeless so we just wanted to modernize the lyrics and rhythms a bit.”, explains Cheat Codes.
The track has been secretly gaining global traction on Spotify as an ID track and was revealed earlier this week on Billboard where also the video premiere of the accompanying video took place. Today ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ already has over 3.5 million Spotify plays. “I am so excited that this collab with Cheat Codes is finally seeing the light of day. We had such a great time making it and can’t wait to play it for everyone this summer.”, tells Dante Klein.
‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ is already supported by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Oliver Heldens, Dillon Francis, The Chainsmokers, Sam Feldt and more.

“We wanted to do something different and cinematic for this video. Our team went all out for the visuals, hiring jugglers, fire dancers, and sword swallowers. We even used the same lenses used on JJ Abrams Star Trek to get that extra high quality sci-fi cinema look. We hope everyone enjoys it", explains Cheat Codes.

Mathieu Koss has been carving himself an impressive career for the last couple of years. With his early productions quickly supported by artists like Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, Michael Calfan and Lost Frequencies, he was signed to Spinnin' Records in 2015, while finetuning his sound, blending pop house and disco into some fetching club gems.
Earlier this year, this already led to 'Stars', a beautiful deep house tune featuring Mingue on vocals. Released on SOURCE, it got picked up by several DJs, including enthused plays by EDX, Lost Frequencies and Yves Larock.
Now, Koss returns to another Spinnin' sublabel for the catchy 'Need Your Lovin', a track born from the artist's travels around the world. "I've travelled around Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and I wanted to put this story to my music. As I was a huge fan of the Laidback Luke track 'Need Your Loving' a few years ago (I used to listen to this track continuously with my friends) I decided to make my own version", he tells.
Which has turned into the summer tinged version that is released now. "I've worked more than a year on it to get that perfect melting sound between my french touch and the house pop style I want to make", says Koss, who already saw the track get early DJ support from the likes of Robin Schulz, EDX, Bakermat, Klingande and Gregor Salto as well as radio support from head honchos like Tiësto and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
